"Good lounge music. Nothing spectacular. I was interested to see that David Arkenstone was branching out. I have listened to his music for years. In the last 6-7 years I discovered Lounge. It would seem likely that much of it would appeal to New Age fans. It is a good CD, laid back, more Chillout than Lounge really. Relaxing, fun, with a downtempo beat throughout. Music you don't have to think about, just enjoy. If you enjoy this, by the way, try the Rendezvous Lounge series, esp. 2, Riccardo Eberspacher, Praful (Jazz), and look into Water Music records stuff, Intentcity Records stuff, and Neurodisc."

"This is a different tack for David Arkenstone but a very excellent one. He has composed and compilled a super set of songs. This CD is as good as any I have heard by any other musicians making lounge music, maybe even better. I hope he continues to make more music like this. If you purchase this collection you won't be disappointed. Buy it now."

"Arkenstone shows more of his versatility in Chillout Lounge. What I find appealing about this CD, as opposed to other chillout titles, is that Arkenstone uses melody more than most. You will get exactly what the title promises Chillout.Sunrise"
