When we first started dating, he played Dave's cd (Under the Lights) for me and remember thinking to myself that the music splattered all over MTV and the radio truly lacks talent like his. Sure there are musicians whose soulful voices I admire (Adam Duritz from Counting Crows, James Taylor, etc), but there is just something about Dave's insight and true-to-life lyrics backed up with his soothing voice that makes him stand apart. You will not be disappointed with this cd, I assure you. It rarely leaves my cd player and every song is equally good. Very thought-provoking and very real. You'll be a better person for experiencing his work..."
