"one of the finest soundtracks ever done. i got mine on vinyl years ago before it went out of print. why grusin doesn't want it released on cd is beyond me; to me, it's easily his best work. now if only they will rerelease this and quincy jones's "the hot rock" (robert redford) and "dollars" (warren beatty), all the world's problems will be solved overnight..."

"A great cd for a rainy winter night by the fireplace. "Silver Bells" breaks the mood, so skip it. Then move on to the soundtrack from "Taxi Driver" (no kidding)."
"This movie is a classic. It is without a doubt my favorite Robert Redford movie. The soundtrack displays D. Grusin's work at its best. The music has all the elements to put you right in the mood and the feeling of the movie and it has that great deep 70's funky groove. It took me almost a year to find this record so be patient. Once you will finally find it and listen to the music you will realize that all the research was worth the effort. Superb!!!"
This is how I became a Dave Grusin fan!

"I Loved this movie, and just about wore the vinyl out playing this album so many times! I fell in love with Grusin's compositions and arrangements. Led me to discover his other recordings, and have been a fan ever since. Only wish I could replace this with the CD version. Dave!! If you're reading this, we'd love to buy this again!"

"Musique très moderne, agréable a réécouter. Elle est un grand classique du genre pour les années 70. Par contre, elle n'est pas très connue du grand public."
