Good songs but...

"This is is my first experience with this artist, so my reaction may be superficial, as well as very personal and subjective. I found the material to be well chosen, but it seems to me there's something lacking in the singer's voice -- whatever it is that makes the difference between good and problematic. I couldn't play the disc through, because it became irritating to me. Nevertheless, worth a try for those who, like me, enjoy exporing."
Solid third outing

"Third album of honky tonk, western swing, Bakersfield, outlaw, and country rock for those liking their country raw, tight, and honest. No stinker songs, solid through and through.
If you are starting here check out his other two "Wasted Days" and "Midnight, California""
