"and we are the richer for it. this is dash's third release, the first with drummer chris luckette, replacing the embarassment that was (and is) fred leblanc, and the first to show just how much rocking dash is capable of. the band teamed up with legendary memphis producer jim dickenson, and it remains the best job behind the desk they've had yet. whats more, the cd is filled with classic tracks-bum for egypt, string you up, dont wanna stop, under the jail-every last one of them pure stompers. throw in some not sappy country flavored ballads, including the rollicking jolie & beautiful promenade. this is a result of one of those rare moments when all comes together and makes you realize why you like rock and roll so much. plus, hoaky is probably drunk!"
