CD Reviews

Awesome EP
S. Donohue | Allen Park, MI USA | 07/14/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I own this one and their earlier release Bathwater Flowers. I found this one to be a much better album. I like the direction their music is going. Some of their earlier work revealed a hint of their eclectic tastes, but this album really sees them come on strong with a variety of sounds. A couple of songs on the album really reminded me of Dead Can Dance, another of my favoritesBy the way, the 2 of 5 below wasn't very fair - the track list doesn't say the Angel theme is going to be on this album, so it's not very fair to downgrade them when it isn't..."
A Beautiful CD!!!!

"This cd is exciting and fresh. Tracks such as "I Want to Kill You" give you the chills beacuse they are so haunting. Other Tracks like "Spoiled and Rotten" as well as "Cocoon" are so amazing that you can't forget them! The Lead singers voice is so unique, and the bands music is a cross between alternative with a mix of arabian. All the songs here are really great, and this cd is worth every penny."

"i first heard 'i want to kill you' on a soundtrack from Vampire: The Redemption that i got for free. i'm very glad i listened to it. as soon as i heard that song i new i liked it, so i got the EP.Darling Violetta has a rich, dark, eclectic sound that i really enjoy. the best song on the album would have to be Coccoon. it has some great middle eastern influences.i think this album would be great for those who like a kind of goth/alternative sound with a femal vocal."
