"Rhythm and Melody are strange bedfellows of Techno in KL's sophomore release as Dark Comedy. I am a fan of the old skool; whereas this disc pays homage to those beginnings it also introduces a NEW path for Techno and decidedly takes ownership of a unique fusion of Blues and House -- a confection that delights my earbuds. Funkfaker is autobiographical somehow, perfectly sequenced, inviting you into the Musicians brave new world and squeezing your hand: "In My Home" (my favourite track) and reassuring you that "Everything's Alright" (BB KIng meets Gary Newman). Like Moby's 1999 "PLAY" disc, Funkfaker is sure to cash IN without selling out ... Repeat and play again."
