Darius' album will "move" you emotionally and physically

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Well, I guesss there's not much to say about this album other than it's exactly what I look for in an album, pop/rock that's just catchy enough to get you hooked, yet there are songs which are heartfelt and meaningful. The songs that are Darius' unique form of pop/rock, which is most like majority of his songs on his debut album Dive In are; Kinda Love, How Do You Like it?, Stars Crash Down, Love to Love, and Only You. They are infectious and electrifying. They will probably be the first ones to get you hooked. Other songs are ballads that really are deep and meaningful, such as Live Twice, Journey's End, Better Man, Resolution, Save Me,If I Could, and the Secret Song. After a first listen to Live Twice and Journey's End you would never have guess that he was writing them about his father, who at the time was dying of cancer. Another interesting fact that I'm sure will get to you is that his father played Live Twice everyday while he was in the hospital and miraculously won his battle with cancer. Probably the most unique song on the album is Devil in You, which is a throw back to the Rat Pack era, is so different from everything else on the album. His voice on this song is so different from the rest of the songs that you have to watch him perform it to believe it's actually him singing. As a side note, if your looking for hard core rock, you definately won't find it here, Darius' music is more along the lines of adult contemporary rock in my opinion. So if you not sure whether you want to buy this album at least listen to Live Twice at www.dariusmusic.com."
