In each and every one of us

"I felt it of great importance to review Danny Schmidt's latest- Instead the Forest Rose to Sing...and found to my surprise no review as of yet for Little Grey Sheep.
This is a fertile garden of songs growing, blossoming (though possibly some may find the deep rootedness of these tales more to their liking.) The Cliff Song spoke to the innocent, unaging girl in me. The romantic cliff dwelling, teetering on the ledge, the risk of letting go and hoping that love might catch you. No leap of faith here- this is falling, flying, soaring as the fearless heart is wont to do.
A Company of Friends resonates in each and every one of us...it speaks of conviction, friendship, love, letting go, laughter, mending-LIFE. Ahhh, Danny has set the echoes ringing with this one.
"When I met trouble she danced round the table..." wicked good. Little Grey Sheep was my introduction to Mr. Schmidt's wondrous ways- by far one of my favorite CDs, for all the right and wrong reasons, it's a beaut!"
