Cr2 release the 6th instalment of their reliable LIVE & DIRECT Compilation series. Step up House Music Legend Danny Rampling. After a brief hiatus from the music to pursue other business activities, we welcome Danny's return to celebrate the anniversary of the 'Summer of Love' with this hand picked selection of tracks which have helped shaped our wonderful scene This compilation follow's up Cr2's hugely successful LIVE & DIRECT - Ibiza 2008 compilation. The LIVE & DIRECT brand is now becoming a respected & well recognised player within the market 3 x CD digipack format, featuring 2 x DJ Mix CD's and a bonus 3rd UNMIXED Disc featuring 10 Classic Club Tracks helping make the album appeal not just as another Mix compilation but also useful for DJ's to use as well. The concept of this album is not just a collection of the usual 'Classics' - but rather a mixture of well know hits from the House Music Scene over the last 20 years, alongside newer versions of these classics - a real snapshot of the scene evolving over the years, to the present day. 2008 marks the Anniversary of the explosion of 'Acid House' back in 1998 in the UK - there is a lot of coverage in the dance press to mark this event and we have already secured strong coverage for Danny and this album in the leading UK Dance Mag - MIXMAG. The album will be promoted heavily in the UK. Specific 'Twenty Years of House Music' website, Facebook Group and Myspace pages have been set up, and collectively have 20,000 active members. Cr2 will be cross-marketing between these three sites and also devoting time and money into extensive online marketing across all dance music forums, and websites to ensure maximum awareness for the album. Beautifully artworked digipak with foil finish on front cover will continue to promote the Cr2 'Live & Direct' branding 2 x 12" vinyl Album Samplers released 11th / 18th August to support the album at retail Cr2 will be present throughout the Summer in Ibiza at Caf? Mambo every Friday daytime, and party's at Caf? Savannah on the last Friday of every month. These will all help to raise awareness of the 'Cr2 LIVE & DIRECT - Ibiza 2008' branding, with packshots of the album used on all advertising posters / online / T-shirts / Banners etc. Cr2 will be taking out 6 Full page Press adverts in major magazines in the UK, Spain & Ibiza over June / July to help promote the album. All Danny Rampling DJ dates across the Summer will specify that club flyers have the album packshot added to them for visibility
