"I saw Danny live, performing solo, at Genghis Cohen's restaurant near Fairfax at Melrose, in Hollywood, a couple of years ago. His vibrancy and shear connection with the hipper-than-most audience moved me to buy two copies of this CD, on the spot; one I immediately sent off to a like-minded old friend. Not since early in Cat Stevens' career have I heard a minstrel repeatedly achieve the illusive "hook", while simultaneously eschewing poetic contriteness, in favor of aiming at the heart and mind of the listener with thoughtful, artistic intelligence and flat-out original songwriting. This is a collection of songs that can be played over and over again, in many different settings, among mixed company (except for maybe one tune), during a range of moods, from blue to partying, and always come-off provocatively in-tune with the moment. Give it as a gift to friends and enemies alike, you will subtly, positively change the landscape of their lives. Enjoy."

"Danny Peck moves the listenter to tap a foot, snap a finger and shake a hip to music that inspires the soul as well as the body. His creative lyrics convey human truths and convictions while his music grooves your soul. Danny's heartfelt vocals touch the deepest recesses of the human experience. If you're tired of the meaningless mass of songs that say nothing, listen to "Love Politico" and your faith in truth will be restored."
Love and Politics at its best

"Danny Peck is one of the most amazing and profound voices out here today. His words and his music are sincere, original and heartfelt. His music mixes explores the insidious silences that surround love and politics without all the stilted lingo, diatribe and perfunctory portent that is so present in popular music these days. This CD is for anyone who is serious about coming face to face with the truths that will change our lives and our world."

"one of the lost boys of the music business.an LA legendhis passion and heart-on-the-sleeve sincerity is almost old-fashioned in a world of foul-mouthed shock value schtick.he writes songs. he is a real musician. he is an emotional performer.whither danny peck?"...it makes no sense, still somehow i believe, even a heart in chains still holds onto the love that remains""
