"FOR THE UNINITIATED OR THE BRASILIAN MUSIC ENTHUSIAST, THIS CD HAS SOME HIDDEN TREASURES. SOME TRACKS LEAN TOWARD THE 1970'S BRASILIAN/ JAZZ FUSION, BUT MANY TRACKS ARE INSPIRED BY THE " MESTRE DA BOSSA", JOBIM, AND MPB (MUSICA POPULAR BRASILEIRA). THESE ARE THE MOST PLEASURABLE FOR MY TASTE. THE JAZZ WALTZ," VALSA PARA NINAR TERESA" IS VERY BEAUTIFUL, AND " CURVA DE RIO" IS AN INSPIRED "TONE POEM" SET TO MUSIC, FEATURING A BLAZING YET LYRICAL SOLO BY ULISSES ROCHA ON VIOLAO(NYLON STRING GUITAR). CHECK OUT ULISSES OWN CD FOR SOME BRILLIANT INSTRUMENTAL BRASILIAN JAZZ."
