"great music, but.... this isn't Rockets, it's Acadie. I think Amazon MP3 downloads may be a little buggy.

"rockets," Lanois in an intimate performance
Walter Danielak | 01/25/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

""rockets" is a definitive addition to any audiophile's collection. Daniel Lanois creates intimate and spontaneous moods through "live studio and alternative takes." One listen to the live performance of "jj leaves la" convinced me to make the purchase. "sweet soul honey" and "rockets" evince some edgier electric guitar riffs by Lanois. These songs interestingly balance out the subtler acoustic works on the cd.

I've been amazed by Lanois' talent ever since I heard "SILVER MORNING" on Brian Eno's "Apollo" in 1983. I'm glad he's received the recognition that he so well deserves...do yourself a favor, get "rockets"!!!"
Another quality work from a master

"Yet another quality work by Daniel Lanois. Really a series of reworked prior releases (so the 'new' factor may underwhelm) but the quality of his work is there as always."
