"I can't get enough of this joyful disc. QQQ's string-driven sound is striking in itself, and their memorable tunes seem to come from some newly discovered place where Norwegian folk music, bluegrass, and downtown improv have all met for a hoedown. The tracks are high-spirited, wistful, playful, and melancholy, sometimes all at once...tuneful, but filled with offbeat details that you notice on repeated hearings. My favorite track is "Spring," which makes me think of an icy stream melting in the sunshine. A smart and immensely appealing disc."
