"Unfortunately, Dan Siegel's music hasn't received near the airplay that several other artists that perform that same type of music have received. I began listening to him back in the early 80's and now most of that material is unavailble. I was reminded of him due to the fact that he has released a collection CD. As for this CD it is mainly up tempo Jazz. It is fairly reminiscent of Alex Bugnon, Jeff Lorber, with even a hint of the Rippingtons. If you enjoy these artists you will enjoy this CD. I don't really care for the songs with vocals, but that's what "skip" functions are for. Overall, this is a fairly good CD, but probably not his best."

"He plays better on this release than earlier ones but the compositions are fairly uninvolving so it doesn't really matter much. Get "Inside Out" (2004) where he finally put it all together."
