Damien Masterson Returns With A Bang!!!

"Damien masterson is a young harmonica master from the San Francisco Bay area who wowwed us in 1997 with his "Intercambio" album. Exploring Brazilian music, he gave us an excellent sampling of what a harmonica was capable of in the hands of a virtuoso.On this album Masterson again explores Latin music, but on this outing he gives us a taste of the music of Cuba. Working in Havana with native Cuban musicians, Masterson again deftly blends his harmonica into the tapestry of his songs. The harmonica sings eloquently amongst the other instruments, not dominating, but becoming a part of the music. You'll wonder why the harmonica isn't used more often in more forms of music.If you're a fan of Cuban music, this a definite must-have album. If you're a fan of the harmonica, then this album will definitely expand your horizons.The harmonica...it's not just for Blues anymore."
