I love Dadawa

"I'm hooked on Dadawa's music. The Chinese singer has a great voice, but what makes her music mesmerizing are the backgrounds to her songs. I am fascinated by the intricate (and sometimes, seemingly impossible) rhythms that accompany and embellish her vocals. Since I don't understand Chinese, listening to her music is essentially the same as listening to a marvelously beautiful yet challenging tone-poem/song. I save her music for my weekly beauty treatments when I can be alone with her in my Ipod, hearing every nuance of voice and unusual instrument, while I glory in the totality and creativity of her songs."
