"DJ Icey goes a little bit off the beaten path of techno in that all of his samples are not technically samples, but recorded lyrics by Christian Ford. While I like 'old school' samples like used by the Wiseguys, this album still rocks. The best track is probably "Not a Test", then maybe "Can't Stop this Track." While a couple of tracks could have been mixed a little better, this album is better than Icey's first, the Funky Breaks."

"I was at a rave in N.O. a few years ago and rabbit, icey and many others were, but Icey tore up the Palace. He was by far the best. No one else has such and ear for the funkiest beats. He brought the Palace back on their feet. And "Eased the Roll Back Up" if you dont have it get it. If you havent herd it hear it. If you love to house, ROLL the album."

"Well, I have don't know how I can explain Icey's sound. He is the only DJ out there with this type of sound. He has the best beats I've ever heard. Maybe his girl Baby Anne is the only other DJ kinda like him. You've just gotta get it. It's like no other."

"Well know you do. I'm from Miami and this is a great cd I have all of them and all have been great in one way or another. Dj Icey is the electronic god and there is nothing more. But to tell you the truth you have to see him in live to love it. He plays in Miami at Mission with Baby Anne and you just feel like danncing for as long as you can. You just sit there and you become tranced witht the beats and the laser show become one with the music."

"This is a tremendous blow-up cd. Don't compare it with others; just enjoy it. Listen closely too, because the beats and sounds have a lot of texture and taste. It will move you."
