"An interesting follow up EP to Kaledioscope, Quadraplex keeps in the theme of jazz infused electronica. it's dark and powerful but unfortunately not Dj Foods finest. "looking glass" is perhaps the finest song on the Ep which really touches on the whole feel and motive of what the members of DJ food were aiming for. "Hour glass" and "shattered glass" are basically an introduction and conclusion and by the end of the EP you feel like there could of been more. Don't get me wrong the EP is really very good, it's only when comparing to the past exploits of some of Ninja tunes finest that it falls short. On a plus side however it should almost be purchased for the cd case alone, it is really, really cool, clear with streaks of silver running through it!. In conclusion if you've never heard DJ food before start with "a reciepe for disaster" and work your way through the different albums and by the time you've got to Quadraplex you'll really appreciate it, if you've heard DJ food before get it and you'll certainly appreciate it for what it is."
