"DOA-yes, those embattled but unbowed Canadian punkers are at it yet again...and, believe it or not, with a pretty stalwart effort. Since their inception, they've either been a trio or a quartet-this time a duo. Founding father Joe "Shithead" Keithley and latest skinpounder Brien O'Brien (yeah...okay) rip through a 13 cuts-that slag everybody and everything from their Motherland ("World Falls Apart"), Rush Limbaugh ("A Gun and a Bomb"), Garth Brooks ("Frontier Justice") to their sport of kings (Pro Hockey-"Give 'Em the Lumber"). Plus, for the first time in eons (do we remember "War in the East" from War on 45?) Joey includes two amazingly well-written dubby-reggae blasts ("You Can't Walk All Over Me" and the spectacular "Death to the Multinationals"). And, of course, the discs centerpiece is "If There's God" (he's fallen down...) that really makes you think twice about organized religion. The CD wouldn't be called "Festival of Atheists" without this nugget. A major improvement over their last two releases. These atavistic cro-mags of punk rock still are attempting to teach their twisted speech to the young believers. It's never too late to jump on this band's wagon..."
