A Joseph Hill Masterpiece.

"This album, though made in 1982, still displays the lyrical power of Culture's 70's output. Two songs in particular Elijah and The Rasta Man stand out as gleaming examples of Hill's power to move through words. The whole album is strong both lyrically and spiritually and is more representative of Culture's spiritual side than the rest of their 80's output. Lion Rock came out before the breakup of the group and catches them close to their peak-still telling tales of the sufferer stuck in Babylon(Babylon's Big Dog and We Deh Ya Still)and the strength and power of faith.
Worth your time."

"Culture's Lion Rock has always touched my soul, spirit and heart. Lion Rock is very traditional Reggae that none of today's reggae players can macth up with. I've always rated Culture at the same level as the Ledendary Bob Marley - May he rest in Peace."
