CD ReviewsMasterpiece of 90's Eurodance/Techno/Trance/Soul andy | Cleveland, OH | 07/05/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Great Commercial EuroTechno album from 1995, from one of the best EuroTechno/Dance acts of the 90's. They are Legends! This is actually a third album by them, first 2 being "Horizon" and the incredible "Serenity" album. Producers/writers here include N Katzman, D Laurent, Cyborg, F Bulow, Schein/Reinecke, Kammermeier/Hayo..... a talented bunch of fellas. This is an excellent, EXCELLENT Commercial EuroTechno album, with not just Great Techno/Trance sound of the 90's, but with very Mainstream/Pop songs and melodies. The album features the female vocals of Tania Evans, and Male rap of J Supreme (yeah, this album has rap, Awesome high Quality and Intellectual rap). You will never look at rap the same way again ;)The synths and beats featured here are out of this world, and the songs are extremely Soulful/Melodic and Catchy. Great lyrics too.It starts out with awesome Intro, and then it Explodes with a monster of a EuroTechno/Dance song "Walk the Same Line".... this one will Send shivers down your spine, guaranteed!!!!!It's followed by more Awesome Fast yet Soulful EuroTechno/Trance songs, like "Get It Right", "Troubles", "Nothing can come...", "Miracle", "Crying in the rain", "In the Mood", "Under My Skin". "Do I have you" (this one's Crazy Galloping Hi NRG Euro track, Pure Heaven here!!!)"Take Me Away" is a Great song, but the version that's featured on this album is a bit weak. there is a better mix, much better."Worth the wait" is a mid-tempo song, It's OK, not that Great"Inside Out" - the Beauty and Emotion of this song is beyond words. Gotta hear it! It's featured twice on this album. First in a more clubby techno sound on track 8, and then on the acoustic normal mix. Simply an amazing and very emotional song, brings out many feeling in me.So if you like high quality Techno/Trance sound with lots of Energy, OR Quality Clean and Intellectual Rap, OR Soulful and Melodic songs with Female Vocals.... than this album is for you. A true Masterpiece, and many hours of listening pleasure. Great stuff." EuroTrancyDance andy | 08/04/2002 (4 out of 5 stars) "After their enormous success with their album "Serenity" in 1993(which contains smash-hits such as "Mr Vain" and "Got to get it"), Culture Beat came back in 1995 with a new album called "Inside Out", which is as good as "Serenity". Culture Beat may be the most famous Eurodance act from Germany. All their famous releases are great Eurodance songs, but only half of their production is actually Eurodance. The other half are more Trance tracks. And this is true for the album "Serenity" as well as "Inside Out". Indeed, "Inside Out" contains great Eurodance songs such as the TERRIFIC smash-hit title track "Inside Out"(very atmospheric and great words about what love can do; this is my favourite track), the European hits "Crying in the Rain"(a Hi-NRG track), "Take me away"(cooler), and "Walk the same Line"(great for clubbing). It also contains some unknown Eurodance tracks: "Get it right"(which is my second favourite on the album) and "Worth the wait"(cool one). The other tracks(so approximately half of the album) are more Trance tracks or a mixture of Trance(the beat) and Eurodance(the voice of Tania Evans):"In the Mood" and "Do i have u" are great tracks with a very fast beat(and the same words repeating over and over!). And to end the album wonderfully, the "Inside Out not normal mix" with a real guitar!!! A great track. For those who love Eurodance AND Trance(mixed) with atmospheric sounds, U should own this album." Hot Hi-NRG Album Visit culture-beat.com andy | 07/08/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "A great third cd from Culture Beat. There is plenty of Hi-NRG & Euro-Dance tracks to go around, however, there is some spectacular trance tracks here: note noteably "Take Me Away" & "Inside Out" are fabulous compared to most of the very tepid trance released in the U.S. My favourties are tracks 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,& 14. Get this if you want superior club music."
