Wonderful and different selections, great sound

"The 3CD treasury is unique in that the majority of selections are not the same "hits" that you see on other CD compilations of Cuco Sanchez. If you only know the Cuco Sanchez standards, this is a great CD to introduce you to more of the greatest Mexical singer.

The treasury includes some corridos such as Juan Charrasqueado, Las Pavorreales (Lucio Vasquez); Gabino Barrera; and Corrido de Monte Rey and Valentin de la Sierra.

One song that is always on his other collections is Corazoncito Tirano, so there are some fresh sounds.

I especially like many of the popular songs that may or may not have been written by others, like: Las Gaviotas, Atotonilco, La Barca de Oro, Adios Mariquita Linda, Cartas Marcadas, etc.

Cuco sings with such passion as you will hear in Por Un Amor and Pobre Corazon. He has a beautiful soothing voice, and the music is excellent. This is a keeper as most of the music is remastered. I recommend two CDs with amazing guitar accompaniments; Cuco Sanchez, Su Voz, Su Inspiracion Y Sus Mejores Interpretes, Anillo De Compromiso - Fallaste Corazon - El Mil Amores with Antonio Bribiesca; and the other Voz y Sentimiento de Cuco Snachez with guitarist Armando Trejo; Beautiful music .....MzRizz"
