""Gold" has got to be the most powerful introduction to Crystal Lewis' love of Music and God, all in one CD. Lewis' powerful, expressive voice soars over truly intense material, and forces the listener to journey with her, whether that journey be religious or spiritual. Songs like "Tomorrow," "Return To Me," "For Such A Time," and "Remember Who You Are" force the listener into a sensitive self-examination. "Gold," "Lean On Me," "What About God," and "Dyer Road" express a need for faith throughout sorrow and hardship. "Why," "God And I," "Be With Him," "Not The Same," and "Lord I Believe In You" are expressions of what I assume to be a true Christian's faith in God despite, all that stands contrary. I suggest this album for Crystal Lewis' musicianship and vocal prowess, but most of all I suggest this CD because the journey is one that the devout atheist, stalwart Catholic, questioning Christian, and even I, the non-religious believer, can, have, and will gain from."
