Listen And You'll See!
James R. Prater | Cleveland Tn. | 03/14/2003
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is the second of a trilogy of LP's that the band put out for the Chisa and MoWest labels, and is the first that they released as The Crusaders. All four of the original members are present, along with guitarist Arthur K. Adams. The fifteen-minute-plus title song features Friends Of Distinction member Philemon Hou "tapping and begging". Next follows a remake of their 1962 classic "The Young Rabbits", with a killer drum solo from Stix. "Listen And You'll See" is a rarely heard gem. The original version of "Greasy Spoon" follows. "Treat Me Like Ya Treat Yaself" is a jab at both Sly Stone and Les McCann. "Goin' Down South" has a hard-driving beat. The CD closes with the gospel-flavored "Love Can't Grow Where The Rain Won't Fall". This recording is a must for die-hard Crusaders fans!"
