"I simply cannot believe that Crowpath aren't more popular. I've been following them for a couple of years now, ever since one of my friends burned me a CD of some of their demos and 7 inches (which can all be found on their collection "Old Cuts and Blunt Knives"). "Red On Chrome" is their first full-length album, and it is so heavy and brutal. It reminds me of the strongest acid eating straight through rusted metal. It is sort of a mix of death metal and progressive metal, but that's a lousy description, because it contains elements of noise as well. It's extremely chaotic and fast, but with off-kilter rhythms. Check it out if you like technical metal. Forget it. I'm just going to stop trying to describe it because I'm doing a lousy job."
