"let me start off by saying that i usually don't go for metal with such a strong "evil" mentality, but i decided to wing it on this one. let me tell you, it was worth it all the way. with the exception of track 5, every song on this album is a guitar burning, brain thumping work of art! i only assume track 5 slows it down because if these guys don't take a break they're gonna die. and while the lyrics are rather "dark" , shall we say, it doesn't even matter a bit. songs like deathexplosion, devil gate ride, total satan, etc....they just blow you away. the guitar work is absolutly wonderful...i mean you think the guitar is just gonna burst into flames. the drums too....as they just crank along putting anything else i've heard to shame. and believe it or not, these songs are really catchy. at first they blow your mind, but whhen you know them, its all over. if you like to rock, and i mean really rock, you have to buy this, hands down. if you're not into the dark lyrical theme.....BUY IT ANYWAY. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I have hoards of great albums and i gotta say this ranks right up there. incredible."

"Born to satisfy my musical needs suits even better! These guys are simply insane, all the energy, aggressions and speed wines up in one hell of a hybrid.
On this very record they just slow down one time, on the track Dead man's song, but don't fear, instead of speed you get crasy heaviness. And if you haven't heard The Crown before, the music is very intense, their drummer is fu**** insane, unhuman stamina!
There's so much variations in his drumplaying, one of my favorite drummers of all time.
The guitarists are also insane, heavy and speedy riffs combined with the cool bass breeds headbangning!Everything I've heard about this band is great, insane brutal death metal with melody, can it get any better than this!?
Yes, the music is even catchy...it's get stuck on your head for hours after your first listen. So enjoy this masterpiece, buy it, you wont regret it!"

"Like its sucessor, the even more amazing "Crowned in Terror," "Deathrace King" helps reestablish the vitality of thrash metal with blinding speed, precise musicianship, and boundless enthusiasm. The aptly titled opener "Deathexplosion" sets the tone for what's to follow, building in speed and intensity for its first minute until it almost hurts to listen to. The album continues in the same vein from there, with ripping compositions highlighted by throat-ripping vocals, joyously blazing riffs, and a thumping rhythm section. The guitar leads are worthy of mention as well, as they are extremely to-the-point and efficient, in a manner reminiscent of "Kill 'Em All."
I guess Metallica's debut is a worthy point of comparison for this album, as the Crown have perfectly captured the energy and agression that made early thrash works so compelling. Even when the Crown finally slow things down on "Dead Man's Song," the result is an excellent grind that brings to mind the best work of Alice in Chains. Of course, the band follows that track with the absolutely blazing "Total Satan," so the reprieve from all-out speed is short. What's perhaps most impressive about the Crown, and someone else mentioned it here as well, is that the band manage to seize on their old-school influences while at the same time crafting their own fresh sound. I just can't say enough good things about this band or their last two albums, so I'm just going to stop now."

"Wow.This album is as if Judas Priest had done a death metal album. This album is even more steeped in the great traditional metal trappings than the last album (Hell is Here), and its great. Its basically blackened death/thrashmixed with that good ol' leather'n chains balls-out metal feel of real 80's thrash and power metal. One highlight is drummer Janne Saarenpaa who is like a drummachine on steroids. The guitar team of Tervonen and Sunnesson is poised to be the Hanneman/King of the 21sy century (and they are much better than those two!). Totally rocking, just not worth 5 stars, because Hell Is Here is still better!"

"This is my favorite album they recorded. Its hard to imagine how or why this band never became more well known. The vocals are amazing!
The music just rages, this is just one of those albums that you cannot deny as being perfect. I still listen to it all the time."
