Album DescriptionHere's our first full length band release and the second on Revenge Records. The near infamous Crosstops with their first slab o' beef, "Cloverleaf Fandango - A Truck Odyssey". A whirlwind of debauchery with tales to tickle the palette and other parts. A half year in the making and another half in the baking, out comes a tasty cake of mammoth proportions. Trucker punk you may call it even though it teeters more on the punk than the truck, they claim to be "Too twang for the punk labels and too punk for the twang labels". Well, here at Revenge we don't mind if it doesn't fit the mold. IT HAS TO KICK ASS! And this it does. From the westernized whack out song one "UFO & The Trucker", to the tales of a lesbian truckers highway antics, "Sadie Divine", the disc takes you on a decadent journey through the cesspools of our lovely land. Dealing with an array of topics that would make most social studies teachers lose lunch with one taste. As the content seeps through your pores and cleans out your inner angst, the production of this record is larger than life and leaves you with a wrenching feeling of loss when it's over. As well as share the stage with The Dwarves, Southern Culture on the Skids, Royal Crown Revue, and a slew of who's who in the Bay Area and beyond, these guys have conquered the clubs with a vengeance un-matched by few. Notorious for live show stunts too numerous to mention, they've never let the music fall behind the gags. Preferring to be individually referred to by their handles, we'll clue you in on the identities of these colorful personalities who could be called, "The KISS of twang". The Band consists of seasoned veteran The Wooper ( Barry "d'live" Ward) formerly of the almost legendary RKL - Rich Kids on L.S.D and hired gun for the Likes of GWAR and Me First and the Gimme Gimme's. Eyeball ( Isaac Camner ) of Hot Rod Pictures Music Video Directing Fame who's directed video's for such artists as Rancid, NOFX, Cherry Poppin Daddies, and many more. And the powerhouse rhythm section of Chatty ( Andre Salcido ) and Porkchop ( Dave Saul) that is the foundation this monster of a molehill is built on. This is one hell of a first record and with this bastard under their belt there's no stopping now. Watch for future Revenge Records releases including,"Girls on Top". A collection of some of the best current girl fronted punk bands around. And "SF '99" is still available. A compilation of some of the greatest punk and hard rock bands that ruled the recent SF scene.
