Tom Clark Rules

"Best album that I've heard in a long time. Like the Everly's, Marshall Crenshaw, Beatles, Elvis, Springsteen, Rockpile, Nick Lowe, Buddy Holly and Chet Atkins? Well Tom appears to worship them and some how fashioned an album that draws from the fountain of pure rock and roll, while still saying something new. Currently quite popular on New York's lower eastside, expect to hear much more from him."
GREAT SONGS!!!

"As someone who has been attending Clark's blistering shows in NYC for years, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this CD. The music on this disc exceeded all of my expectations. The energy and passion of his live performances are here, but these studio recordings really highlight what an amazing songwriter he is. Songs that I'd never heard before like "If you Could See" (a beautiful acoustic ballad) are juxtaposed with knock-your-socks-off rockers like "Drink Too Much." And the guests on this album are unbelievable: Jeff Buckley, Robert Quine, Graham Maby, etc. And if that's not enough, Lenny Kaye is a co-producer. Whether you like country or pop or whatever-- if you just dig really really good music, you need to hear this CD."
