"After years hitting up mixtapes, compilations, guests appearance, Crooked I finally signed a deal to Death Row and recorded 40-50, none of which got to see the light of day on his supposed to be debut "Say Hi to the bad Guy", which was finished about 6 years ago and never came. So Crooked I finally off his contract, released this album/documentary DVD, and it's very good. No doubt since I Ifirst heard him back in '98, he has the skills of a top lyricist in the game, not just the west coast. On this one he has 18 songs, (really his "Young Boss Vol. 2" mixtape), of the 18 you get 1 classic, 8 are ok, the other 9 are good. Guests are on only 5 songs, and he introduces his Horseshoe Gang off his label. Production is pretty good as well. The DVD has some interesting insight as to how he got where he is, and about his time with Suge Knight. A nice album to have froma great lyricist.
