"crime in stereo from long island, ny play some of the freshest and most sincere hardcore in the scene today. this is their debut full-length album, but they also have a split 7" with kill your idols on blackout! records. i recommend this album to anyone that enjoys melodic hardcore music like lifetime, later turning point, or embrace. i couldn't help but notice the guitar work on this album which is very tight and melodic and is complex without becoming too much of a burden on the rest of the music. The lyrics deal with everything from hanging out with friends and having fun to the bastardizaton of hardcore music and the lack of roots in newer hardcore music(watch for clash reference on "if you think we're talking about you, we are). Overall "Explosives and the will to use them" sounds great musically and lyrically, i suggest picking this up right now, it's very much worth it.
Also watch out for a new ep/7" coming out in June on Blackout!/Walk all Night records and check out this band live if they come to your area.
help keep hardcore music alive."
