Synopsis
Product Description Crazy 8's have released the 20th Anniversary edition of one of the top selling independent releases from the Pacific Northwest, Law and Order. Comprised of six tracks from the original 1984 release with six re-recordings of the same tracks from 1992 sessions as well as the timely inclusion of Ridin' On The Campaign Trail (recorded in 1989) and a fabulous 16 page collectors booklet, the 20th Anniversary edition of Law and Order is a must for fans of CRAZY 8's. The original recording in 1984 sold 20,000 units; the band released four other titles and toured for a dozen years before packing it in. The 8's mixed jazz, reggae and rock into a musical stew with high energy, horn driven arrangements that was not easily categorized but captured legions of fans. Similar CDs

CD ReviewsCrazy 8's after 20 years Urban | Seattle, WA | 09/16/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "This is a must for all Crazy 8's fans. Having a great time listening to the different versions of the seven original tracks. There are a few suprises on the CD like the secret track #25. Their appearance on Star Search. This version of Johnny Q was worth the CD. Just saw the Crazy 8's in Seattle this Sept 2004. They still put on the best live show even after twenty. Small Venues & Small Crowds Rule!" Why Not ALL the original tracks? Thomas F. Enright | 03/10/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "I've been a Crazy 8s fan since the 80s and I have a cassette of the original Law And Order. This is the 2nd time they have released this on CD without two of the original tracks "Jump Rock" and "You're OK, I'm OK". Does anybody know why they keep leaving off these tracks?" Been a long time Strider888 | Hawaii | 08/31/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "I first heard the Crazy 8's on WLIR in New York while my wife and I were driving through Levittown. Shortly after we left New York and I never heard them again. They were gone but their music never left my mind. My wife and I always wondered who/where we could find the band. For more than 20 years, I tried to find the name of the band or the song (Johnny Q) that stuck in my head all those years. I remembered a few of the verses and searched a few online lyrics sites recently and BAM, I found the Crazy 8's AGAIN! Went online and ordered this CD. Absolutely fantastic!!! Always a Ska fan, now a formerly lost but now found Crazy 8's fan."
