One day four young gentleman hailing from drastically normal neighborhoods and drastically different musical upbringings formed Crackjaw. One of the most recognized bands in Detroit, Crackjaw is steadily gaining fans in the Midwest, South and East Coast. A two-song demo in 2003 quickly became a 4-song EP, and the resulting buzz has led to thousands of copies sold over the last two years. What does Crackjaw sound like? Let?s not try to be intellectual here ? the band steps into catchy rock, crotch & roll hardcore. Their ability to craft a great song and still wax thrash with subtle hardcore is something that many have tried and few can pull off. Along with playing upwards of 250 live shows in the Midwest, South and East Coast in 2005, Crackjaw has supported bands like A Wilhelm Scream, Chronic Future, Chimaira, Taproot, and was tapped to play the 2005 Warped Tour. With Giants From The Stereo, Crackjaw hopes to touch most of the world, punch authority figures, and! work really hard to make something that people will run to hear.
