Album DescriptionThroughout the sixties and early seventies many different producers called upon the talents of Count Ossie's drums to add a more authentic flavor to their recordings, but his music was finally given the freedom to develop outside of the confines of a seven inch single in the 70s. His 1973 album, Grounation and its 1975 follow-up, Tales From Mazambique both pervaded with the fervor and devotion asscoiated with Rasta reggae as a serious artistic and spiritual force. This set adds 8 bonus tracks - 'Rasta Reggae' (aka 'I'm Going Home'), 'Samia', 'Back To Africa Parts One & Two, 'I Dread Version', 'Blacker Black', 'Soul Drums', 'Ethopian Kingdom' & 'A Ju Ju Wah'. Trojan. 2005.
