"I hate when a new synth pop group appears and inmediately there appears reviews saying it sounds like Erasure, PSB, OMD, Depeche Mode because those standards are very high and when you hear the cd with that comparison in mind, you say, what the heck?!
I am not going to say this album "sounds like" Pet Shop Boys and OMD but I am going to say THAT if you like PSB and OMD I bet you WILL enjoy this album very much. The singers voice is very simmilar to OMD, tough (and that is a good thing not a bad thing)
This is light synth pop but yet very elaborated. The melodies, the sounds, the voices are very nice. I am quite picky in music and I HATE songs without melodies and this album has a lot of good melodies.
Overall this is a fine and very nice synth pop album with danceable beats as well as slower songs that yet have a good rythmn, good use of chords and instruments.
If you were sad because the new bands that are trying to revive synth pop didn't quite make take a look at this album."
Best Synthpop album in years...

"I don't like typing long posts or attempting to sum up each song in a mere sentence or two. This album is too good for my words anyways. If you're a fan of Erasure, the lighter moments of Depeche Mode, or newer synth acts like Cause & Effect, and De/Vision...you will like, if not, then love this album. Trust me, a true synth freak, buy this album and you will not be disappointed at all."
A sweet melodic addition

"Cosmicity's latest album will not only appeal to fans of the synthpop genre but also pop music. Eleven light and different pop songs in all that covers the topic of love, longing and technology. Mark's writing style brings out the most personal and inner feelings that makes his songs very touching. Accompanied with the nice soothing rythms a long with an assortment of synth sounds makes for a great listen. A mix of slow and fast songs keeps it balanced and uniformed. Some songs will take its time to grow on you due to the experimenation on this album. Overall, highly recommended! If you're a fan of Erasure, Pet Shop Boys or Anything Box and haven't listened to Cosmicity or the rest of what the synthpop scene offers than visit www.adifferentdrum.com for more sophisticated intelligent and out of this world synthpop."
