"I recently purchased this 2cd set from the U.K. and found it to be an excellent collection of music from the Corrs. I must admit that I am an avid Corrs fan after seeing them live in Chicago,USA(March1999,March2001), Sydney,Australia(August2000), Boston,USA(Sept2000), NY,USA(soon), at Wembley Arena,UK (Dec20,21,22,2000). The first cd of this set is really the InBlue original release of songs(USA), the Aussie release had 1 extra track for a total of 16 songs. By now, the Corrs have had radio airplay for 'Breathless' here in the USA. Def Leppard's old hitmaker producer and Shania Twains' estranged behalf (are they still?), Robert Lange, had a hand in making 3 major hit tracks with 'Breathless', 'All In the Love in the World', and 'Irresistable'. I cannot have enough of these songs as I have the whole cd on repeat mode on my Sony MiniDisc Walkman! The In Blue collection is not so much a departure from the earlier Corrs music but rather a welcome ascension of the Corrs' musical craftsmanship that I just find to be intoxicating. I am, after all, 'Hopelessly Addicted', to the Corrs music library in general. On a personal note, I especially relate to 'Somebody for Someone', through my own experience in life. Andrea and her sibs really hit it home for me with this track. As I truly have hope and faith that there is 'Somebody for Someone' out there in this world. One just cannot lose all hope and faith with beautiful moving music such as from the Corrs. In Blue offers a refreshing variation of feelings amongst the tracks for the listener. I especially love the remaking of 'At Your Side', originally from the Unplugged cd (import only for USA). And again, the Corrs nails it home with 'At Your Side' offering some reassurance somehow when I just find it hard to hang in there. Its like having a friend tell you that the world will be OK. Disc 2 offers the same track acoustically. 'Radio' is a great song of someone reminiscing about someone else. Nicely redone in In Blue but again in Disc 2 acoustically. Disc 2 is pretty much acoustic songs of In Blue songs with new unreleased tracks that indicate that the Corrs are still hard at work to making newer hit songs in a newer vein. 'Love in the Milky Way' and 'Looking In The Eyes of Love' certainly covers a familiar subject matter of Corrs music, which, for the most part, the world is hard pressed to give, Love. One Irish man I happen to know, accused me of stalking the Corrs as I have somewhat followed them from the USA to London to Australia. Of course, I cannot help but admit my undeniable adoration for Andrea Corr. But who would believe me, eh? We are all just 'So Young'. ;) Cheers!"
