"I ordered this album without much thought- just assumed a CD filled with #1's should be good... and I was trying to get deeper into classic country music and made the assumption that Conway Twitty would be a good place to start.
It has been three weeks, and this CD has not left my car stereo (unless I need to transport it quickly to another stereo). I'm a 21-year-old woman, and am currently OBSESSED with Conway Twitty, a singer who had barely registered on my music radar a mere month ago.
This is an incredible album, spanning many different time periods of Conway's career, and even includes a couple songs with Loretta that are stunningly beautiful. "As Soon As I Hang Up The Phone" is even included- a song which predominately features the lovely Loretta.
My favorites are #8 (You've Never Been This Far Before) and #25 (Desperado Love). I love all of the songs, to be truthful-- I CAN NOT STOP singing these songs... they bring me such JOY and PEACE.
I completely recommend this album, to all. I've always been a country fan, but owning this album has thrown me into the thralls of beautiful classic country music- where the heart and the soul was inherent within each syllable of each song."

"I ask that in the caption because, while this does indeed give you 25 of his Number One hits, the man had FORTY-ONE among the 111 Country/Pop/R&B/Adult Contemporary hits he chalked up primarily for Decca/MCA between 1957 and 1993, the year of his untimely death at age 59 (his first was with Mercury, 12 were for MGM, four came with Elektra and another 12 for Warner, including eight of his forty-one number ones).
This MCA release (which, by the way, includes the original It's Only Make Believe done for MGM in 1958) has excellent sound quality and an insert with three full pages of background notes written by music journalist/author Billy Altman, several more nice photos of Conway, and a complete discography of the contents.
Four of the contents are duets with another Country legend, Loretta Lynn with whom he had a total of 14 Country hits.
Just a great collection no matter how you look at it, and not to be missed by any true Country fan."
