From Bacharach to Broadway to a litte bit of country, Connie Francis' interpreter's prowess is ever evident in this generous 20-track collection. Undoubtedly intended for Francis' enhtusiasts, this collection would provide the casual listener a glimpse of Francis' impeccable vocal stylings covering 2 decades. The casual fan will not find her greatest hits here, but a testament to Connie's tireless stylings. Of exceptional note are Connie's interpretations of the Bacharach/David tunes "The Look of Love", "Trains and Boats and Planes", the torchy "Moon River" and the showstopping "What Kind of Fool Am I?" Also included are the country-tinged "I Wish I Had a Wooden Heart" and "The Wayward Wind". THE WORLD OF CONNIE FRANCIS is a wonderful addition to any music collection."
