Album Description"Beyond the sky: Legends of the starry night" is the new third album in Conni St.Pierre?s "Legends" trilogy. Spacious and soaring alto flute melodies re-create the legend of the Pleiades and halcyon days of winter. Highlighted with solo Japanese shakuhachi, and Native American drone flute, the album creates a dreamscape. Like stargazing on a winter night, the listener can easily "float away" on the music, in meditation, relaxation, or just daydreaming. The songs have a lilting flow that carries the listener across the vast ?ocean of the sky?, into a more mythical place. Many of the tracks were recorded in the Maine woods, on the side of Mt. Will near The Outlook studio. This album is the culmination of the series; it completes the cycle of legends - ocean, land, and sky. The three cds playing time totals over 120 minutes of musical escapism.
