"When this came out it was quite a find, with four fine tracks not availalbe anywhere else. I enjoyed it more than any of the Concrete Blonde albums. The band really rocks live, and the emotion of "Tomorrow, Wendy," a song about a woman dying from AIDS (and some anger at God about it), comes through raw and clear, even with some moronic crowd reactions audible. "Little Wing" is a studio cut, but it too is very energetic.
Now all four of the extra tracks are available on Concrete Blonde's Still in Hollywood album, with a bunch of other previously hard-to-find tracks. The only track here not available anywhere else is the edit of "Caroline," a minute or so shorter than the one the Bloodletting album. Probably not worth going out of your way to get the shorter cut unless you're a completist.
Here are the timings:
1. Caroline [Edit] (4:03)
2. Roses Grow [Live] (3:05)
3. Tomorrow, Wendy [Live] (4:26)
4. Sky Is a Poisonous Garden [Live] (4:15)
5. Little Wing (4:15)"
