They are both fine soul singers from the mid 1960's and although this compilation was originally licensed from EMI and released by Westside Records in 1999, it is now back as a release through EMI's Stateside Label. The album is a real collector's disc due to the number of alternative takes included from both artists. Betty Lavette's contributions are 'Let Me Down Easy', 'Only Your Love Can Save me' & many others. Carol Fran's contributions are 'Crying In The Chapel', 'A World Without You', 'You Can't Stop Me', 'So Close' & many others. 2005.
