"To be quite honest, Common Sense' music is much better on the live platform. Although the CD is a good representation of the band, its harking melodies are a bit "studio-ized". If you don't live in San Diego or you never get to see them perform live, you really miss out on the raw Cali-reggae beauty reality behind the band's spontaneous flow. All in all, The CD can be a sufficient substitute for all."
This cd is awesome especially at 4:20!!!!!

"If you've never seen Common Sense live, then you're missing out on a great show! The next best thing is this CD. No matter what mood I'm in, it's always a better mood after listening to it. Nick Hernandez has an awesome voice, Chuck Morris rules the skins, Larry Young always delivers a great bass line, Jai Vatuk and Billy Sherman really wail at guitars and keyboards. I highly recommend this CD-and if you happen to be in San Diego, catch Common Sense live!"

"A good cd. i agree with the other fan stating it's a bit "studio-ized". a little too much flanger on the vocals on the song "summer". they were probably co-erced into being a little more pop due to being on virgin records at the time. good songs though, i really like "never give up" featuring pato banton, "trapped inside my mind", and "things ain't getting any easier"."
