"I hate to say it, if only some very geeky rockist somewhere will take offense, but Comets on Fire are what Hawkwind aspired to. This is the most scary cannibal hippy music you can imagine. Pointless effects, eyeball exploding feedback, sick inducing arches of squealing freakout. Goddamn, I say goddamn. In other words, it rocks harder than any of you MFers.
GODDAMN!"

"If you purchase this slice of mad genius, I guarantee you will experience the following symptoms. Pure adrenalin screams out of the speakers. The most out of control sound erupts all around you. A sonic fireworks display going off for a while. A mellow moment appears and is eaten alive by feedback. Then they REALLY get crazy for the last two songs. Amazing energetic rawk power. Forget those guys on MTV. Forget that one underground group you like cuz your friend is in it. Comets own you."

Do yourself a favour and by this on faith alone...their Blue Cathedral recording is pretty special too."
