"The music world has lost a great one: James "Chuck" Cuminale, aka Colorblind James, passed away on July 10, 2001, leaving behind a six brilliant CDs and a greatest hits package. Condolences to family, friends, and fans."
WHAT A GREAT FIND!

"I bought this album strictly on a whim from reading a few excellent reviews I had seen. What a surprise this album turned out to be. This band is just outstanding! Great musicians all. If your looking for a very unique band that uses a trombone, a banjo, a vibraphone, and even a washboard, to create a mixture of rock n roll, blues, folk, jazz, polka, jug, country, and gospel, you might want to try out this one of a kind veteran band. I'm basically a rock lover, but this band's sound has so much crossover appeal that I immeadiatly took to this album. Out of all the great songs on here, the ones I like best are "Call of the Wild", "Lock Him Up", a song you might here playing in an Irish Pub with everybody up dancing, and "Prodigal Son", with a slowed down rhythm that's downright contagious. This album came out in 1999, and it was by far my favorite album that year. Highly recommended!"

"Its been too long since we last heard from CJE, but it has been well worth the wait. The Experience at their finest and tightest."

"Colorblind James and the rest of the gang have done it again. I don't know how they do it, but they've never made a CD I didn't love. And he a nice guy too - he sent me "I Could be Your Guide" as a belated wedding gift."
Pure class...from an unsung hero

"I'd kind of given up on hearing more from the Colorblind James Experience despite the breath of fresh air that other releases have always been in my CD collection. This CD is pure class: wry lyrics that swing with irony and a constant feel of isolation from the high street of society. The music delivers pumping horn-led rhythms and naive vibraphone & drum beats. It weaves through jazz and jive, even folk but at best they sound to me like a full-on jumping ska band. Oh...and I can't resist pointing out that they are what The Beautiful South would sound like after a short trip to hell."I went to the doctor: I was looking for some hope; When I left that place, I was drunk and shooting dope""
