"Jay-tee comes out the gate solid to start his solo career. This is one of the hottest albums that hes been apart of and actually hes been apart of quite of few. With N2DEEP he put out 5 albums (Back to the Hotel, 24-7-365, The Golden State, The Rumble, and Slightly Pimpish Mostly Doggish) He is also in the group Latino Velvet and they put out 2 albums ( Latino Velvet Clique and Velvet City)He also put out 2 compilations (Playas Association "Bombay" and Playas Association "Fulltime Hustlin") There is the best of N2DEEP and the best of Jay-tee. Do the math this record "So Cold" solidifies the sucsessful rap career of one Jay-tee(count the records). When u think of who put Vallejo, California on the map its simple E-40 & the Click, Mac Dre, and who else Jay-tee/N2DEEP. So Cold explodes off the top with NAW NAW. The beats on this record hit thanks to one K-Lou (Ken Franklin) who did almost 3/4 of the record. Portland, Oregon's Torrey Ward did Soakin Up My Game which incorperrates an entire different sound to the record that wasnt there on any of Jay-tee's previous records. The lyrical content is what weve come to expect and this album is no different, do you want hot, hard, knockout lines jay-tee has em on every song. This record features E-40, S.P.M., The Luniz, Mac Dre, Frost, Young Dru, Bullet & Shaolin, and Arjay to name a few. You want some quoteables, checkout the verses from Mac Dre, E-40, Yukmouth, and Jay-tee's verses on So Cold, Holdin On, Naw Naw, and She gon hate this. Pure game from all angles. This album has everything. Dont sleep on this one cuz this one right here just might be the hardest ... u ever heard. So if you love some Bay Area, WestCoast, Lowrider music than get this right here and when you see what i said you'd see take one minute to thank the game god for blessin us with this right here. Oh Boyzzze..."
