"Coho ... hails from Seattle, Washington and plays subtle/in-your-face (yes it can be both) beat-driven rock." - PUNKNEWS.ORG Things Change is the simple yet dense title for the debut album from Coho--simple to understand, but dense in context. The band formerly existed as Midnight Triton and was making music in and around Seattle when their best friend and bandmate committed suicide. That same year, frontman Jeremy McDermott gave birth to his first child. The obvious juxtaposition of life and death set the stage on which Things Change was born. The album is so intimate and full of raw emotion that you might feel like you're listening in on something you shouldn't.

"This album is a beautifully crafted, compelling work of melodic, beat-driven rock and roll. It is emotionally rich, lyrically worthwhile, and aesthetically unique. Pristine and unpretentious, "Things change," is appealing in numerouus respects and is a sure-fire remedy for those growing stretches of disinterest between stimulating records."
