Can I say "awesome"? Yes, I can, and it describes this cd.

"I am a big fan of the space-rock/proggressive music that is creeping under the radar these days. I get elated when I find a band like Codeseven - one that combines sharp originality, a compassionate sound, and a heart bigger than the world. These guys are excellent.
This is the first Codeseven cd I have heard, and upon falling in love with this cd, I took a look at their past releases and was suprised at how different this was. But both Codeseven sounds are excellent.
As far as this one goes, there is something every indenpendent music fan will enjoy. "All the Best Dreams" combines synthetic keys and a catchy groove with some amazing vocals and a heavy climax. "Nasty Little Revolution" is so beautiful and so imaginative and dreamy. "Sunflower" carries a spacey, dark, and heavy tone that ends the album perfectly. Even the short interludes between the "songs" are excellent. Reminds me of a more upbeat, yet sometimes darker, old Dredg.
So this cd is excellent and worthy of ready ears to devour the sound and enjoy it fully. So give them a listen."

"i stumbled across their advertisement in some alternative music magazine and after downloading their cd, I was totally blown away by the soothing voice of the singer. Codeseven has totally changed their style from their previous albums. their older albums have a few decent singles like the cover "Boys of SUmmer" and "Incommunication" and "Smell of Yellow and Black" but their songs weren't like anything you haven't heard from other bands. but this album practically makes them sound like an entirely different band. their lyrics are amazing, i especially love the lyrics to "All the Best Dreams" and "Pathetic Justice". Definately check out this particular album of Codeseven, you'll love it. I've been listening to this album non-stop."

"codeseven has done it again. I couldnt imagine anything that could compare to their previous release The Rescue, but after seeing them last night and listening to Dancing Echoes/Dead Sounds, I will take back my words. And yes, while The Rescue is probably one of my favorite albums of all time, DE/DS is only a notch or two behind the perfection. Oh! What a feast for the ears! Never getting boring or mundane at any point, this album transports you to different soundscapes and elevates and devastates you in ways I haven't felt in a long time, given the shallowness of many current bands in the scene, disposable and forgetable. Codeseven, however exist in a realm outside scenes or trends, with their recent albums, at least in my book, achieving "timeless" status, akin to Radiohead. For example, I know I'll be able to pull out the Rescue (or this album as well) in 5-10 years and still be able to enjoy and appreciate it as much as I do now. Think about how many bands you listened to half a decade ago that you can say the same for.
With their sound darker, more refined, and more electronic, the album is definately a step in the next direction, past The Rescue. Each member wrote a few songs and brought them to the table to be worked on I was recently told by singer Jeff Jenkins, whose voice literally dances and echoes in the recesses of your memory after listening to the CD. I must say I do not give 5 star ratings haphazardly unlike many folk who give 5 stars - why? cause they're the best band ever! i love them! No, no, no, my friends, this album deserves the worship and praise it has a will recieve for years to come."
Can't stop listening...

"It's rare for me to listen to a CD over and over anymore. I did it a lot when I was young but now I usually have a "been there heard that" attitude. That's why I was surprised to get so hooked by this CD. This is not background music. It's not catchy music that quickly gets old. In fact it gets better with age!
Don't believe me? Do a Google on "Codeseven" & "evr100". This will give you a link to the Equalvision web site where you can listen to the entire CD for free! Listen several times. Once you're hooked come back and buy the CD. (After all these guys are trying to make a living and if you don't support them they can't keep it up forever!)"
