Not A Greatest Hits Compilation....

"....but two albums that the Coasters recorded, the former the first album they recorded for Atco after Carl Gardner(lead)and Bobby Nunn(bass)left the Robins to help form the Coasters, the latter an album recorded a few years later that shows them as fine vocalists capable of handling standard material. I am glad that these albums are now available on CD, as I have been trying to get them for some time. I think that anyone who is only familiar with the Coasters singing comedy should listen to "One By One", you might be surprised(unless you flipped over "Yakety-Yak" back in the day), I think they do a fine job with the material. Of course, the comedy material on the first album is first-rate."
