"This is an extraordinary quintet recording. These guys have chops it's true but it's the "from the heart" playing here that is simply fabulous! I saw these guys in February 2001 and was totally blown away! I haven't left a concert that impressed in years! This CD is a great representation of what happened in that concert. I became an instant fan! Get this. This will remind you of how jazz is played by master musicians."
