CD ReviewsThank you, Lubo! zimbee | Las Vegas, Nevada, United States | 01/22/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I had come to the US for college and about a year after my arrival my brother, Lubo, sent me a few tapes of new music he had liked back in Bulgaria. One of these was Clawfinger's Deaf, Dumb, Blind. I was swamped with school work and for a while the tape was just lying hidden in some corner of my dorm room. When I finally got to it, I realized what treasure I had been neglecting. Due to the fact that CD's last much longer than tapes, a couple of years later I spent the money for the CD. Clawfinger are a wonderful band which was doing what is so hip today so many years ago and so much better! These Swedes are still undiscovered by American audiences. There is no better example of the rap-metal mix than this and any other Clawfinger album. "The Truth" was (justifiably) song/video of the year on MTV Europe the year the album was released there. "Catch Me" is my favourite on the album -- the lyrics are awesome. The only thing that is missing on this version is the anti-racism song which opens the original version of Deaf, Dumb, Blind. Maybe it is due to the title of the song (which I am not going to write down for fear that the review will not get posted, but it is the derogatory term for a black person), maybe there was a completely different reason... I have been wondering about it for years. Although the album is still one of the best of all time, I feel others are deprived of the strong message of the missing song. In any case: Don't miss this one!" The Best Metal album EVER b8mwiths | 04/15/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Those who like Rap metal should really get the original version of this album and play it really loud. I personally think they are the best Rap Metal band that eve walked this plannet."
